Montreal Fever

As some of my close friends and family know I'm making a big life leap in a few weeks. I'm moving to Montreal. Mainly for work but on top of that for this odd gut feeling that it's where I'm meant to be.

I've been living in Toronto for roughly 6 years now and I've made many "Life" friends and many more great memories. I graduated college, got my start in my dream career, and met a woman that gives me all the love, support and balance I need.

I've been given the great opportunity to continue work in my field up in Montreal, and essentially start a new chapter of my life. I grew up in a VERY small town. Some people say, "Oh yeah I'm from a small town." Then I ask, "Oh cool, did you have a Timmies or Subway (the restaurant)?" usually the response is yes or no but they had another chain we've all heard of. Simply put, where I'm from is so small that NOT seeing a tractor on "Main" street is considered weird.

I was things like this about where I'm from that earned me the title "Smallville" at Bedlam Games. Thus I took that nickname and made it into my new site. ""

I met, worked and just plain hung out with a ton of great people during my time in Toronto and I can openly say that the nickname "Smallville" isn't the only thing I'll be taking to Montreal with me.

With all that said I can confess to the reason for this post. I'm sitting in the Charlotte airport waiting to take my flight home to Toronto and to my surprise the flight boarding right beside me is to Montreal. Almost like I'm somehow being told this is the right thing to do, but I can easily dismiss such a coincidence... Well that was until I noticed the flight after my flight is also departing to Montreal.

Is that a destiny slapping me in the face? We shall see.

To my Mom & Dad, to my big sister & my wonderful girlfriend (but your coming with me so this isn't totally for you but your certainly part of it.) To my grandparents and all my family. To my friends and heterosexual life-mate. I send you all my love and wish you all nothing but the best. You are all what make me what I am and without you I wouldn't be where I am today and where I'll be tomorrow.

I don't want to say goodbye, i just want to say that I'll see ya later because I'm not running away just running forward.

I love you all,
